I am in love with these curtains! They are very soft, a vibrant blue color (which goes perfectly with the other room decor), and they definitely do a good job of blocking out light. They don't block 100% of light (and they don't claim to, the company claims 99%), but it blocks a good amount, enough to make the room dark enough for my little boy to sleep for his naps. I've tried other blackout curtains and always ended up returning them, but these are wonderful!! I'm a very satisfied customer.

I love these drapes. They are soft, not hard and stiff like some others that I have ordered. They make my little girls room so dark, cool, and block out the lighting from storms which is a plus for anyone with small children that are scared of storms.

Our master bedroom has a bathroom - without a door. The toilet area has a door, but not the actual entrance to the bathroom. True to late-1990s-construction and a fascination with putting doors in impractical locations, our house has it. My husband gets up long before I do and I don't *want* to wake up with him, as much as I love him.

We tried a "room darkening curtain" over the opening - that was a joke. In desperation to maintain my beauty sleep, I tried the Eclipse Twill curtain. It's a tad shorter than the actual opening, but it does a fabulous job. Most mornings, I'm not disturbed AT ALL by the light from the bathroom. Light, being what it is, *will* escape through the smallest of areas, but short of bricking up the opening, this is unavoidable. Light would even escape under a door, so why should I expect a piece of fabric to do better than a door? ;)

I was delighted at the sturdy (!!!) construction of the panel; the lime curtain is backed by the same type of fabric its front panel is made with, and you have the choice of using the tab-pocket or the traditional rod-pocket at the top of the curtain to hang it. I only needed one panel for my doorway and couldn't be happier with how it works, how it looks (lime against chocolate brown walls? DIVINE!), and how little it cost me (comparatively).
